Overview
Heading to an exotic location to go diving? But it's been a while since your last dive?
If it has been over 12 months since your last dive, a refresher is highly recommended. A lot of dive centres will ask to see your certification card and your logbook and may insist on a refresher prior to entering open water on your vacation. Doing the refresher before your head out is a good way of saving yourself some precious vacation time.
During a Refresher, you will work with an instructor to sharpen your skills previously learnt during your certification and review some important ones like equipment setup, entering/exiting, mask removal & clearing, regulator recovery & clearing, ascending / descending, BCD removal & replacement, buoyancy control, emergency ascent, air sharing.
